Winter 2010 10-Week Indoor Developmental Program - Friday, January 01, 2010

The Hewlett-Lawrence Soccer Club in partnership with US Premier Soccer Academy presents

Winter 2010 10-Week Indoor Developmental Program
Saturdays, January 9th-March 20th at Crossroads School in Inwood (off Feb 20)

U7 Boys (1st Grade) 9-10 AM
U8-U10 Boys (2nd-4th Grade) 10-11 AM
U7-U8 Girls (1st & 2nd Grade) 11-12 PM

Fee: $135

Only for registered HLSC Intramural Players - you must be registered in the Fall and/or Spring 09/10 season to participate. Developmental players may be invited to participate in Winter and Spring Tournaments.

Every training session consists of 1 hr of training: 30-45 minutes of Technical Training (passing,
dribbling, shooting, juggling and first touch) and 15-30 minutes of Tactical Training (spacing,
movement off the ball, combination play, defending and rules of the game).

The US Premier Soccer Academy prides itself on developing players, not finding them. Their 10 Stage Progressional Training Program allows players to discover a love and passion for soccer while concentrating on the necessary techniques that lead to greatness. With a sound technical base and strong understanding of the tactical intricacies of the sport, it is up to the individual player how far he/she can take their career.

Their coaching staff is comprised of all Professional and NCAA Division I Soccer Players. Not only can they coach the game, but they can also play it very well in their own right. They teach an attractive style of soccer where the emphasis is on possession and combination play. On the other side of the ball, they concentrate heavily on defensive concepts, which is vastly overlooked in the development process, especially on Long Island. All of their fitness is done with the ball, both aerobic and anaerobic.
